Escapade [es-kuh-paid]- n. An adventurous, unconventional undertaking.
Like the definition of the word Escapade, we started Escapade Direct to help provide families with innovative “outside the box” products and services, to further enhance learning adventures for children, and encourage children to think creatively.
We believe all children are talented inventors, scientists, explorers, and artists. So we’re not here to “teach” them, but rather to unlock those natural talents they have by providing rich and exciting materials and mind stretching ideas to try.
Children who have fun while they are learning will comprehend new information better, and retain it longer. Our products and creative ideas have been personally selected to empower children to become independent explorers through fun, educational play.
We are a family-owned business with years of experience, and we understand the importance of helping children be the best they can be. We give a lot of thought to the products we sell – we read every book, play every game, and kid-test every product – we only sell products we would use ourselves. Our products are selected based on their educational value and their ability to spark creativity. So, whether you are a parent involved with your child, a homeschooler, a parent of a gifted child, or a teacher – our products will help you and your child be successful in their education, and enhance skills they will use throughout their life.
We’re not like other toy and book stores – we go the extra mile to deliver not only the best educational games, toys, books, and gifts – we also include educational website links that enhance the educational value of an item. We even include our own unique, creative ideas for using our products – we call this “outside the box” thinking, and we want to share these ideas with you!
